Privacy policy
Last updated November 3, 2026
MyIQTest (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at myiqtest.app (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. You can reach us at [email protected]
What we record
When you view a page or use a test, the site sends a small event to our own analytics at myiqtest.app/e. An event can hold:
| What | For example | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Page and time | /iq-scale/ at 14:02 UTC | See which pages help people |
| Where the visit came from | The referring site’s domain (never its full address) and campaign tags in the link | Learn how people find us |
| Test and game results | Score, number correct, time taken, the option picked for each question, a game’s best level | Calibrate question difficulty and publish anonymous statistics |
| Brain fog check | Sharpness score, reaction time, focus slips, memory span | The same |
| Clicks in a result | The report tab you opened, whether you shared, where you stopped a test | Improve the report and the tests |
| Country | “US”, worked out by our host from your connection | Know where visitors are |
| Device type | Phone, tablet or desktop, read from your browser’s user agent, which isn’t stored | Design for the screens people use |
| Two random IDs | A visitor ID in local storage and a session ID in session storage | Count visitors and visits without cookies |
None of this is your name, email, IP address or anything else that identifies you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, no events are sent at all.
What we never collect
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords or payment details. No page asks for them.
- IP addresses or full user agents in our database.
- Advertising IDs or cross-site tracking. The site loads no third-party scripts, pixels or fonts.
What stays on your device
These are saved only in your browser and never sent to us:
- Answers in an unfinished IQ or aptitude test, so a refresh doesn’t lose them. They’re deleted when you finish. Scores aren’t kept: reload a result and it’s gone.
- Your last 30 brain fog results, so the next check can compare.
- Your best scores in the brain games.
Share cards are drawn in your browser and never uploaded. A challenge link contains only the score, such as /s/118/.
Who else handles data
Cloudflare hosts the site and our analytics database. It processes your IP address to deliver pages, work out your country and block attacks, and it may set a security cookie if it has to check that you’re not a bot. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We don’t sell or share data with anyone else.
We may publish statistics built from many results, such as average reaction time by device. They never include IDs or anything about one person.
How long we keep it
- Raw events: about 13 months, then they’re deleted automatically.
- Statistics built from them, such as tests completed per day: indefinitely.
- Emails you send us: only as long as we need to answer.
- Data in your browser: until you delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and US state privacy laws may give you the right to access or delete your data, or to object to its use. We record events on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the site, and we never sell or share personal information.
Because we don’t know who you are, we can find your events only by your visitor ID. Send it to us with the link in the box above, and we’ll delete everything recorded under it within 30 days.
Children
The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. A parent can ask us to delete a child’s events by sending the visitor ID from the child’s browser.
Changes
When what we collect changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If we ever add ads or accounts, this policy will say so before they go live.
